Supporting New Learning Formats through Advanced Internet Connectivity

Now more than ever, connecting teachers and students reliably and effectively to our far-reaching backbone is vital to the long term success of education at all levels within our communities.

Technology is key for education, and OpenCape is leading the way. We work consistently with K-12 schools, colleges, universities and research institutions across the region to help bridge the digital divide that can hold back students who do not have access to adequate and reliable high-speed internet.

In addition to connecting public and private schools across Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts, OpenCape is capable of supporting new learning formats as the use of digital tools for remote and hybrid education continues to grow. OpenCape works in partnership with schools and other educational organizations to:

  • Build connections for schools and communities at discounted rates
  • Expand access to digital tools for remote and hybrid education
  • Seek distance learning funding through federal and local grants
