Before Robbin Orbison opened CapeSpace in June of 2016 she knew she wanted to be connected to OpenCape’s fiber network. Dependable internet was a must for the full-service shared workspace facility she envisioned. “People come here for one reason, to work” says Orbison. “ There has to be fast and reliable wifi.” So she planned CapeSpace around access to the OpenCape network.
The beautifully designed co-working space is a soothing mixture of blues, greens and creams outfitted with everything a busy worker needs for efficiency and comfort. CapeSpace offers a variety of membership plans, including a business work lounge, meeting rooms, private furnished offices, and virtual mailboxes and phones. There's even free Starbucks coffee available all day long.
But CapeSpace clients definitely come for the high-speed broadband. Orbison has rented private offices for this coming summer to the company that films the Cape Cod Baseball league games. The filmmakers used CapeSpace last summer and are returning because the wifi connection is so fast and reliable.
Orbison is big fan of OpenCape and any time she has had questions about expanded connectivity (such as when some clients were using a VPN) the team at OpenCape was quickly responsive and helpful. “OpenCape is terrific,” she says, “and I wish them great success.”
